A flight jacket for a city that never lands.

Design Notes

A reimagining of the classic MA-1 flight jacket in an olive Adaptive Merino™ and recycled nylon shell, cut with a slightly dropped shoulder and a shortened hem for a modern, city-ready silhouette. The interior is fully lined in brushed merino jersey, and the ribbed collar, cuffs, and hem are knitted from the same adaptive fiber as the lining so the whole garment moves as one temperature-regulating system rather than a shell with a liner bolted on. A zippered utility pocket on the left sleeve — a nod to the original A-2 map pocket — has been quietly re-engineered to house a slim device or passport, with a conductive-thread loop inside for cable routing.

Smart Fabric — Adaptive Merino™ Insulation

The merino lining actively expands its fiber loft below 15°C and relaxes it above 20°C, so the jacket feels equally at home on a wind-cut rooftop or a crowded train platform without ever needing to be removed.

Styling Note

Wear open over a fitted crewneck for transitional weather, or zipped to the throat with the collar up as the temperature drops.

A floor-grazing, single-breasted trench built from a weatherproof merino-nylon gabardine with a deep storm collar, raglan sleeves, and a self-belt at the waist. Drawn from the classic 1950s officer's trench — knee-skimming length, structured shoulder, wide lapel — the fabric itself has been treated with a photochromic finish, so the coat's sandstone base tone deepens toward a richer taupe in strong sunlight and softens back to pale khaki indoors. Fully seam-sealed with a merino-jersey underlayer at the collar and cuffs.

Smart Fabric — Chroma-Shift Photochromic Weatherproofing

UV-reactive pigments embedded in the fiber shift the coat's visible tone in response to light intensity — a subtle, living color with no electronics or charging required.

Styling Note

Design Notes

A slim, single-needle-tailored button-up in an ecru micro-dot merino poplin, with a spread collar, mother-of-pearl buttons, and a single back pleat. Underneath the traditional finish, the poplin is woven with a hair-fine conductive thread running through the yoke and cuff in a barely visible micro-grid — reading as a subtle jacquard dot from arm's length. The fabric is a lightweight merino-cotton hybrid, chosen for natural moisture-wicking over standard dress poplin.

Smart Fabric — Circuit-Weave Conductive Thread

The conductive grid in the cuff pairs with a compatible wearable device for silent notifications via a barely-perceptible cuff vibration — technology that lives entirely in the weave.

Styling Note

A three-button henley knitted from 100% Adaptive Merino™ in a mid-weight jersey, cut close to the body with an extended rib at cuff and hem. Constructed with flat-seam, seamless-body knitting so there are no side seams to chafe under a jacket or coat. The placket is finished with matte horn buttons, and the neckline sits a half-inch lower than a standard henley to work cleanly under an open collar.

The collection's foundational piece — its merino fiber does the most temperature regulation of any garment in the line, worn alone or layered under the Aviator 2.0 or Quantum Knit Cardigan.

A double-pleated, tapered trouser in a Smart-Memory Wool Blend, cut with a high rise, a clean break at the ankle, and a hidden elastic gusset at the waistband. The front crease is thermoset into the yarn during finishing rather than pressed onto the surface, so it survives a full workday, air travel, and repeated washing without a single touch-up. Finished with a besom back pocket and a French-fly closure.

A forest-green, shawl-collar cardigan in a chunky cable knit, cut with a relaxed body and dropped shoulder for a lived-in, heritage feel. The cable pattern is knitted from a Phase-Change Thermal Fiber rather than standard wool, giving noticeably more insulating power for its weight than its old-world silhouette suggests. Horn toggle buttons and ribbed cuffs and hem complete a piece that could pass for a decades-old heirloom at a glance.

Smart Fabric — Phase-Change Thermal Fiber

Microcapsules within the cable-knit fiber absorb excess body heat when active and slowly release it back while cooling, buffering sudden swings between heated interiors and cold exteriors.
